Developing our data and analytics capabilities to support Proactive Care, Service and Population Health improvements and Research and Innovation

In collaboration with partners across London, supported by the London Data Strategy, we are developing data and analytical capabilities to help improve the delivery, planning and co-ordination of health and care services across South East London.

Our collective aim, in line with the expectation of Londoners, is to bring together important health and care information into a single place, organise it, and share it with appropriate health and care professionals, and service leaders, to improve their decision making and ultimately the care that local people receive. This includes more equitable, proactive and co-ordinated care for the people of South East London, wherever they receive their care in London. This is often referred to as population health improvements.

These new developments will also help to improve important research capabilities across London, which in turn aims to improve the care people receive in future e.g. service re-design, new care pathways and treatments.
